The DMV is DUMB!

This is me...He got it.
May the Lords help us all!

He flunked the vision test. So what did that mean? A trip to the eye clinic (where he just got new glasses after 2 visits for additional testing - which is a yearly routine for him ), with a form that has to be filled out by his doctor. The doctor wouldn't fill out the form til he sees, the J-Man again. Soooooooooo, back to the eye clinic tomorrow, and then to the DMV if the doctor "clears" him.

I don't get it. If his vision is so bad (which I believe it is), that he can't pass either of the vision tests at the DMV, why in double hockey sticks, would the DMV even consider letting him get a drivers license?

I'll keep you posted.

Okay - I'm off (God help us all, if the boy gets his restricted...ain't enought tranqs in the world, for me to let him drive with me in the car!), but I'll be back later.

Here's the recipe for:

"Everything But the Kitchen Sink Potato Salad"

3 lbs. - Potato's, peeled, scrubbed and chopped and cooked til tender
2- Hard Boiled Eggs, chopped
1- Medium Green Bell Pepper, chopped
1- Small Cucumber, peeled, seeded and chopped
1/4 cup - Cider Vinegar
Squirt - Prepared Yellow Mustard
1 cup - Mayonaise
1/2 cup - Sour Cream
1 tsp. - Dill Weed

Add in any, or all, of the items below:

Handful of Alfalfa Sprouts
Diced Carrot
Minced Celery
Fresh Peas (Raw or steamed)
Lightly Toasted Cashews, chopped
Lightly Toasted Pecans, chopped
2-3 tblsp. Sesame Seeds
Dill Pickle, chopped
Diced Onion
Crumbled Crisp Bacon
Olives (Ewwww Yuk), chopped

Mix together, gently. Cover and refrigerate. You may need to add more mayo. Adjust to taste with salt and pepper. Garnish with any or all of the following:

Paparika

Grape or Cherry Tomato's
Green Bell Pepper Rings
Grated Carrot
Crumbled Crisp Bacon
French's Onion Rings
Sliced Olives (Ewwwww Yuk)

Use your imagination - add anything that your family likes! More mayo. Less Mayo. Leave out the vinegar. Add more vinegar. Skip the sour cream. Use sweet pickle relish. Leave out the pickle. Use thawed frozen peas, instead of fresh peas.

The world is your oyster - but PLEASE - don't put oysters in this!

Well that's all for today. I've got an awful earache, so now the whole left side of my head HURTS. Ear, jaw, teeth, and my eye. I went to the doctors this morning, and she said it was a good thing that I got there when I did, because the eardrum was about ready to burst, and she thinks that my sinuses are infected too. She asked if my throat hurt, and I realized that it did... ...So, now I'm on three more medications. Oh Joy. But I am so ready for this pain to go away.
