God Bless Our Troops - Let Us Always Remember Their Sacrificies

God Bless Our Toops
Serving both at home and abroad.
 Let us remember those who have died in the
fight to uphold freedom and human rights.
Remember and pray for all who have been
touched by war...
those who have made the utimate sacrifice,
those who are now fighting,
those who have fought in the past,
those who are separated from their loves ones,
those who have buried their dead,
and those who live in war torn countries.

The information below, was sent to me
by a dear friend, who's young son
(who is soon to have a son of his own)
is serving in Iraq.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~`
It should give us all pause to realize the sacrifice which has already been made and still continues.  Please remember it’s not the individual soldier who asks for WAR.
  Our American elected leader apologized
to Europe and the Middle East for our
country being "arrogant"!
 My Comments:
What sacriledge...to those who have fought,
and those who are fighting still.  To those who have
given their lives. To those who have lost their
loved ones. To the citizens of other nations, who
have never uttered a word against the service
of the Americans Soldiers!
May we ALL remember what has
happened in the past,
what is happening now,
and what can happen in the future.
Well said, Libby! Well said!
And those pictures with the numbers of our soldiers buried on foreign soil are very sobering, aren't they! Every man, woman and child in America ought to read this post! Our president should too, but I doubt that he's interested! Shame on him for apologizing!
No graveyard can ever hold the lives of the young men and women who died for freedom.
We must pick up their hopes that they scattered among the poppies for a better future for all mankind.
Then walk taller by sitting on their shoulders.
Well said, from me too. What a reminder. I know that I am a Brit... but all our soldiers, for whatever conflict, need to be remembered for ever and honoured forever.
HAPPY CHRISTMAS TO YOU!
All blessings on you at this time... much love LWM xxx
